I am looking to bring over a 3 year old colt from Tipperary, Ireland to East Sussex. I have never done anything like this and don't really know where to start. Any advice on how, who to use, cost etc would be really appreicated.

Thanks

I brought my wb over from Germany and used a professional horse transporter. They dealt with all the peperwork at the ports and delivered him door to door. It cost around 500 but this was 4 years ago. I know from Germany the horse had to have blood tests but not sure about Ireland.

Gosh wish you had posted this a couple of days ago i have just had the last of my horses loaded from north tipp today and your horse could of come on the load with mine.
I used ETA and as they have loads coming to Ireland about once a week they try and fit you in with a load back.
They are complete professionals, and today i was not there and with a friends help they loaded my stallion, 2 yearling and a brood mare and foal as well as a few more and nothing was any trouble
