Well, it finally stopped raining, so decided I'd lunge the Ginger Beastie before risking life and limb by actually getting on him.
I was going to take it very quietly, but the GB had different ideas and did a very good impression of a wild mustang, throwing his head around and bucking like he'd been practising. When I was ready to switch sides he decided going round in a circle was FAR too boring and as soon as the clip came off the bit, he fecked off, broncking and farting like a rhino over the nearest hill...
The old Antifaz would've been loose all day, but fortunately he came back with a big grin on his face and was easily cornered.
Today I rode him and he was an angel; no bucking, tail swishing or other protest even when startled by 3 Belgian Shepherds attempting an ambush.
Hmmmmm... I wonder what he's got in store for me over the next few days...... ??
