OK so this is potentially going to be an exceptionally stupid question and the majority of people will be shake their heads thinking 'who on earth sold this person a horse'
So my 5yr old has been on box rest due to being lame with mudfever for just under 2 weeks. She has 'finally' got turned out again today and my question is should I do groundwork/lunging/longlining with her for a few days before getting back on or do you think it would be fine to just get on and work her (gently of course for my benefit as well as hers lol)?
