bringing hunters up

When do you bring your hunters up my boys chilling out now ive stopped showing now and this year is different so he will get longer off and i'm sort of enjoying not riding but can't wait to start hound ex just interested in your ways !!

We continue to hack ours out 2 or 3 times a week so they're never totally unfit. Our puppy exercise days start beginning of September, we usually start increasing their work and introducing some canter work around the end of July - not sure what others do, but this works for us - BTW our girls are quite lightweight little horses and seem to keep themselves pretty fit when just ticking over.

Hi I groom a masters horses
They are at grass atmo i will start riding them again at the begining of August.
Can't wait to get back in the saddle have just worked my 1st season can't wait to get back to it !!

Mine come in end of July normally although because we didn't do much in the winter I am keeping going through the summer and doing a few local shows this year.

Ours are still out at the min but will come back in at mid/end of june ready for hound exercise!

Ours have been out since the season ended. They will come back in at the start of July, ready to start hound exercise in August.
