Ok so last year a group went to Stockland Lovell XC schooling (I seem to recall they got DRENCHED). Would anybody be interested in another XC Schooling meet-up? And where? Stockland's pretty central for everyone I assume but does anybody else have suggestions? And then of course.. when?

Don't worry p_p I'm a wuss! There are all different heights of jumps so something for everyone whether they be adventurous or more restrained!

we didnt get drenched on horse, that was untacking! and on arrival. We had thunder and lightning while on horse!

I would be very interested in going! Got a very novice but well behaved ex racer, but no friends to go cross country schooling. Please can I come? x

It was a good time despite the crappy whether! I was photographer last time, and since we've never done XC I'd be happy to bring the camera again...so long as I'm not working :)

Binky - Stockland is Bridgwater way, but there are others like Leyland Court that could be possible.

curragh - Of course you're welcome!

Aaaah I'm at Leyland nextmonth hopefully for the hunter trialon the 18th....my mare's out on loan and the girlwantsme to come and watch her so hoping to either go to watch her at least, or take my boy and enter myself if poss too :) Is the course nice there?

I went last time, but won't be able to ride this time cos I'm a bit pregnant and jumping my rodeo prone horse is definately off the cards!

I can confirm that I have never been so wet!

However, I'm happy to come and take photos etc.

4LeggedFurries - Are you still completely transport less, or do you just need a grown up to sit next to you while you tow?

monkeybum - ooo cool! :D what class are you doing? I've not done XC as such on my boy yet either so shall be fun! I'd love to go schooling too but don't have transport to get there before the trial sorry :(

I will come if I dont have to take pain in arse pony up the motorway ;) though I suppose if mum comes too then that would be fine but might be a while before Cal is jumping again.

I will also come if its not raining, not thundering and not lightninging

and no we dont jump very big either ;) but Frank is very good for ditchy pones :) He has had hours of practice trying to teach mums :)

I'm not frigging going in the worst thunderstorm of the year again!! LOL Poor baby horse did not enjoy the experience much!
Freddie is recovering from an SI injury at the moment and isn't even allowed to canter yet let alone jump....shame cos he is ALOT more calm and mature than he was when we went last year!! I'm happy to come along anyway and watch/take pics, if I get bored I will push ester off frank and steal him :p :D

anyone's welcome to share my neddy if they want too :) can't promise what he'll be like but he's generally safe enough :)

Excellent!
...you lot will be saddly lacking in comedy factor without mine and shazzababs broncos there! They made a right pair last year  :D

:D

First question then... When? During the holidays I'm pretty free but once school starts back I'm teaching every evening apart from Wednesdays.

Monkeybum - I may ask to join you on the 3rd!

Pmsl vizslak, you know you only have to give me shout is fred needs babysitting plenty of summer left.

and course you can borrow frank... only if I can nick genie from fi! ;) . He was on his best behaviour bit when he got there..... to make up for his behaviour on arrival ... think its a good thing I can tow myself now.

Fi, I would be happy to try and go during the hols, could do with borrowing everyone to be make a pretend start for his lordship ;) and not working in the evenings while the students are off. would have to be SLM not leyland then though for me.

Skewby I didnt know you were SW :D
