Bristol thefts

Please be advised that there have been a spate of thefts from yards in the Bristol/ Severn Beach/ Thornbury area over the last few days. To date, 45 yards have been hit in the last week. Items stolen include saddles and other tack, trotting carts and show carts and carriages.

yep - more than likely appleby

we're in lockdown round here - it's the Derby and the same thing happens...

not necessarily though the incomers - the local tealeafs take the opportunity to do the blagging knowing the transients will get the blame.....

Not much help I know but I am off to Appleby next Tuesday so could keep an eye out for things if anyone knows what has gone???
We had our tackroom cleared out 8 years ago & I still keep an eye out for our saddles I would know them if I saw them!

After GG said about the farm next to her being done, my saddles came home!

Farm isn't that accessible - v long lane and you have to know there are horses there - can't be seen from the road - but I'm not risking it!

I'm that paranoid, if anyone ever shows up while we are there - trying to sell things etc... I always note reg numbers down!!!
