British "Children" are European SJ champions

I don't get that, isn't there an under 16's European Championships every year.. Dressage, SJing and Eventing

Under 16's are riding ponies usually. There are also Under 18's (Juniors) and Under 21's (Young Riders) who compete on horses. The key here is that the riders are young (aged 12 to 14 or maybe 16) and riding horses

Well done to the 'children on horses' team and especially nikki freeman!

Nikki won the farewell stakes on her dad's mare that only started jumping approx 18 months ago, fantastic achievement!

I think the concept of introducing children to horses at an early age is a excellent idea.

Well done to Team GB. This is Britain's first attempt at this particular European Championship and to win team gold and individual gold and silver is amazing.
