In BD do you have to move up a horse size when you reach 16? i know for BE and BS you do but i didn't know if the same applies to BD? Just a convo we were having at the yard tonight and we didn't know....
Also another question.... a few qualifiers i wanna do but i don't have a dressage saddle, just a GP, do you think this will matter? We aren't going top level, just Prelim/Novice

Don't have my BD rule book handy but I don't think there is any rule regarding adults not riding a pony. Definitely OK to ride in a GP saddle.

You can ride any size, pony or horse, whatever your age.
For BE as long as your pony is at least 14 hands your age doesnt matter either.

A GP saddle is fine no need for a dressage one.
