British novice second rounds today!

So pleased with my little girlie!!

we jumped the first round and there was a few hairy moments (ie. getting a bit deep) but nothing different to Evie's usual!
anyway she jumped clear, bless her

Then the second round, the first fence was massive

, anyway we jumped round in the most beautiful rhythm i just kept her in the nice rhythm and she just loved it and ate it up, but we literally breathed on the 3rd fence, and it fell.

But i wass so pleased with her it was a nice square track and

It was the biggest ive ever jumped on her, looking forward to next weekend now

Hi Jess, well done to you. Glad you made it through to the 2nd round. We didn`t go. We had friends sponsors there with their other rider and they phoned at 11am to tell her that they were still on first class. Then phoned again at 12 to tell her that they had loads in the first round. Then friend called me to tell me that she had just fetched her horse in and she was hopping lame, probably an abcess! I was at home, just grabbing a sandwich, so came on net for an hour. I was looking forward to going too. Going to Hargates Wednesday now, as would like to go to Ashby show next week. It was supposed to be decided today if it is on, but didnt see YO earlier.
Well done to you though. Would like to have seen you all. Probably next time.

Well Done Jess, you went very well, it was a massive class as well.....90 in the first round, just over 50 in the second & thirty in the final jump off. It turned out to be a bit of an endurance test for us....we were in the 2 classes that followed.
