british racing school/ northern racing college???

i want to go to the british racing school or the northern racing college

but i have only just started riding

will i be able to go ?

do a lot of people go who are new to riding ?

has anyone ever been to any of them and know what it is like?

i have loved horse racing for ages but only just started riding myself and i don't want to be the only one there who hasn't been riding for years

One of my clients daughters is currently at NRC. There is at least 1 person on their course who has done very little, if any riding before. Certainly their foundation course specifies that it is open to 'complete beginners with no previous experience with horses and prepares learners for work in the racing industry'.

Clients daughter was a little homesick to begin with but is enjoying the course (less so the food!). She says the BRC at newmarket is 'posher' than NRC.
