Bit of a random question but I am horse window shopping at the moment and my two favourite things in a horse is being a pony and being a pretty colour (of course conformation, temperament, ect ect come first but there are enough adverts out there to dream )

British Spotted Ponies - supposedly 'good all rounders, up to 14.2hh and spotty' sound perfect. Except they are all spotted miniatures.

Anyone know of anyone breeding more sport type 14hhish spotted ponies out there? Not miniatures or spotty gypsy cobs (which are gorgeous though).
 
Will pm you when I get home. The woman who bred my mini stallion mentioned her daughter bred the bigger ponies. Haven't got her number on my phone tho. They are brilliant ponies tho, the minis are great as they are petite but don't have the obnoxious attitude of shetlands!
 
They're not all miniatures at all, far from it :confused:

Chamness, Capitall, Broomells & Weatheroak are 4 larger spotted pony studs just off the top of my head.

Have you looked at the BSpPS sale page? There are several on there that are 12-15hh +. Also try spotties.com

Thanks for the info, I could only find two 14hh ish ponies on the BSpPS website that weren't 2yo's 'to grow on'. Spotties.com looks good, thanks.

I found the Chamness Website but I couldn't find Capitall, Broomells & Weatheroak on google.

Most of the links on the BSpPS are to mini studs and 11 out of 15 of the stallions listed are mini too, hence my comment about minis.

I know they are adorable Fallenangel but I would want something I could ride I'm afraid.
 
why dont you just look through preloved and adhorse ect i have found loads of spotties on there between 13-15hh and they are all lovely, and if they not reg with spot society that doesnt matter you can just get the passport overstamped :)

good luck with the search there are some nice sorts out there dont just limit yourself for 1 website xxxx
