I've just bought a rising 3 Hanoverian x TB gelding - and wondering whether I should register him with a specific society...His sire is registered with the British Warmblood society, although is technically a Hanoverian I believe. His dam is a full TB, registered with Weatherbys.
Any advice on if and where I should register him? I've got the covering certificate from the sire's stud, but unfortunately my gelding wasn't passported until very recently - and I think most societies ask that the vet fills in the ID document within 6 months of birth.
I'm new to this - only had already registered horses before, so any advice would be useful! Is it even worth registering a gelding? I'm intending to sell him in a year or so, not sure if it ups their value a bit if they're registered...?
