I didn't think they were very good for anything much (animal wise that is!!) - I wouldn't be feeding them to my guys anyway

They are on the other hand very good for composters!

Have you been doing broad beans too? We spent all yesterday morning shelling broad beans (is that the correct term??) and freezing them! Me and mum both now have lovely black finger nails from it all! We did have a 25kg feed bag filled with them mind....
