My short boots and gaiters need replacing and I saw a pair of synthetic Brogini long boots. Tried on a pair in the size smaller than I need but they were still comfortable, so I'm thinking of buying a pair! Has anyone used them before? Some time ago I used a pair of synthetic long boots (I think they were Just Togs?) and they broke quite quickly and also I found sometimes they would drop down and my foot would go up inside the leg part  has anyone had these problems? Also are they fairly narrow or wide fit (they only come in standard width) as the (smaller size down) ones I tried on were kind of tight.

I tried on a pair at Olympia as they were mega cheap. Fit around my tiny ankles very well. But I didn't buy them in the end as wondered how long they'd actually last. They were very soft and flexible and very comfy, but think they'd wear very quickly

Had some to try at the yard as temporary yard boots. For the week they lasted they were ok, then they fell apart everywhere!

Got the Brogini gaiters, one has fallen apart after 3 weeks. Put the complaint in. Have to say the jod boots have been great.

I had the gaitors and they sagged and wrinkled after only a few days. Within 2 weeks they were cracked, permanently wrinkled, the zip broke on the left one and the press stud and stitching came undone on the right. They went in the bin.

I replaced them with Mountain Horse Excellsior Gaitors and they're amazing. I paid £35 for them from a local tack shop. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the replies! Don't think I'll buy them then :/ I have the short boots and love them so will probably just buy another pair of those and new gaiters the same as I already have.

Try tredstep gaiters. I now have 3 pairs, acquired over time. They have a very big choice for fit which I have not found anyway else and my oldest pair are getting on for 10 years old. Had the zip replaced on the older ones but that's all!

My sister swears by Treadstone gaiters, which look like expensive boots on but are £15 on ebay :D
