What supplements would you reccomend giving to a horse with a broken bone? He is getting all the rest he needs but isnt healing overly well and wanted to know if you guys knew of anything that worked before the last resort. All help is much appreciated!

Comfrey leaf is also known as 'knit bone' and was used a lot by herbalists, bot has an external dressing and as a tea.

When I broke my own leg I took Ruta Grav and Rhux Tox (sp??) I also took calcium and vit c. My consultant was quite impressed with the speed of bone healing. I used helios pharmacy and purchased online after a consultation as they advise what to take, how often and at what strength.
