i am going to start a mini business and sell browbands, i have a horse myself so i know that high prices can be paid for a raely posh one. i have everything sorted out but one thing, the type of browband. i was going to order a mix of size and coulours. but there are 2 types pvc and leather. i have only ever used leather, but im not sure if pvc would be a better alternative. from what ive read pvc is a plastic bond thing. i wondered if anyone could reccomend wich one to do, pvc is cheaper but im not sure if anyone has had expirience with it, or if leather is of a better qaulity. can anyone reccomend a type for me? any responce will be appriecieted, Thankyou!

PVC is cheaper in price and look but is washable so it depends what the buyer needs. If you do a good job with the tails, the browband material shouldn't really be seen so it doesn't matter what material you use. I would offer both if possible to give the buyer the choice. :)

I make mine on a leather browband but find with pale colours it can dull the final result - I'm now looking into some white PVC ones so that the pale colours will look crisper.

PVC should be good to use as it won't sep dye if the whole thing gets really wet.
