I am with you on that my big lad would look a right girl if i put him in a sparkly browband i don’t think he would come out of the stable with the shame....

i think most horses would from what we put them in! (i have been an owner of various pink rugs, however, I've taken the pills and that troublesome phases is all cured now...)

52. Bridles
Should be used as follows:
Preliminary and Novice standard Ordinary snaffle
Elementary – Advanced standards Ordinary snaffle or Double bridle
PSG-GP tests that are ridden
under National rules Ordinary snaffle or Double bridle
(unless double bridle requested by selectors)
International PSG – GP tests
ridden under FEI rules Double bridle
Only the bits illustrated in rule 59 are permitted.
Bridles may not be decorated with tassels or any additions to the normal configuration. Discreet
padding of the bridle at the poll or noseband is permitted. The Miklem multibridle is permitted.
 
when I was 15, i was eliminated from pony club level dressage at a ODE for having a brass one on mine (we would have come 2nd otherwise)

But things have come on since then and I believe they are permitted along with sparklies.
