I am trying to find a pony I use to own. When I brought her she was called Mummy mole but was changed by previous owner to Running rivers. was about 14.1/2 coloured mare. I had her when she was about 18 for pony club. She would jump anything you put in front of her, was a real confidence giver but could be strong. I sold her a few years after to give her easier life. I sold her to someone who sounded lovely and just wanted her for her daughter to hack a few times a week and get her confidence. She promised to keep in contact with us, after about 1 week we never heard from her again. I later found out she was a dealer in Clacton area and always brought or loaned older school master type ponies and horses and sold them on younger. Because my pony had a freeze mark I managed to find her registered on NED with a new passport. She would now be about 27. I was tole by someone who said they tried her that they had taken about 8/9 years off her age and they were selling her as an event pony. Now called Little coloured. Her freeze mark is V945. Now believed to be in Suffolk Stowmarket area. If anyone knows this pony please get in contact as I only want to know that she is well and maybe see some pics of her now. Thanks

That is one sick story. And a very good reason for not selling on older ponies/horses - loan them, with strict parameters. Pay the £100 and get a solicitor to do it.

I hope to goodness you can trace your pony and that she is in good hands. Have you any come back against the dealer, I wonder. probably not -the lying cow.
