.. and what colour is your horse?

Am wondering if it would suit my boy.

Please post pics of your horses in their brown tack if you have any.

Here's my horse... would it suit him do you think?

Why on earth would you think that brown tack is so unusual? !!!! We use brown tack on all our horses - black, bay, grey, coloured - looks fine! And your horse would great in brown tack - lovely little horse.

All my tack is brown, my boy is actually quite similar 2 your horse, even down to the face markings! lol he is a lighter bay though. If you want to show your horse it is more correct to have brown tack.

How big is he? he has come out very nicely, some times they can end up a bit on the heavy side. I also keep heavy horses, my sister has 2 shires and i used 2 have a clydesdale (until i unfortunatly lost him last year) what do you do with him?

He's 16hh, but he's 4 so the shire in him might make a late growth spurt.. won't go up much now though I don't think.

He was backed last summer, so just starting to do a bit more with him now schooling wise.. hoping to do a bit of everything with him in the future.

ETS: he's only 1/4 shire so on the light side...

I think your horse would look lovely in brown. Only issue is you have to be super-careful to always get the same (ish) brown whereas black is more just 'black' whatever. (Unless you're properly fussy about finish etc.)

He looks like he would do well in hunter classes, you can see the throughbred in his head, he looks like he has the quality of the thoroughbred but with the strength of a shire. he has a good strong back end.

ha ha ha! thanks! i would love to say i will b taking my boy but unfortunatly i cant see that happening, i did say that last year would be his last year at county, he is 18 now. + he has had a few lameness problems that we are trying to get on top of at the moment. but i do love taking him to shows because he is such a joy to do, so i may give into temptation so long as his leg is ok! lol
