I have a beautiful brown handmade bridle that I use for showing, I have recently aquired a rugby pelham and now need a sliphead to convert my bridle into a double.
So why is it that I can't find a brown sliphead anywhere? Every where I look they are black

I ordered a brown one from my local tack shop but when it arrived it was too dark to match my bridle.

Any ideas? or shall I buy a complete new bridle?

Have you not got a local saddler you could take the bridle to, so they could make a matching sliphead to your specifications?

I needed one of them, Got to local tack shop they will do them, I also needed one in brown. I just ordered a new bridle instead was easier. I just hope the nose band is thick enough for ben Im sure It will be.

Ok hon so polegate are good there is also leonard stevens in old town.
Further afield there is Jacky Winchester in Punnets Town (she is bringing my clean rugs back soon so could catch up with her at mine) or Sians in Buxted (dave workes near there so could take it for you!!)
Hooe that helps. Are you still on for Sunday?
