I went on a hack today as the arena still has lots of snow in it. When I got back I went in the arena to have a canter around the outside where people had used it and there wasnt so much snow. When I went back into the barn my horse's shoes were full of ice so I picked it all out then saw red spots around a bit of her right fore hoof.
She is due to be shod on thurs or fri but my query is, as i've never had a horse with bruised sole before, is it ok to carry on as normal and ride?
I have another hack planned tomorrow.
