So Lucy is a greyhound so we are used to the usual injuries and dramas.
Shes not had any incidents or injuries over the past 24 hrs as far as we are aware (she screams the place down if she gets a dead leg for example ?) but have been out for short periods where it’s possible that she’s done something daft (she thinks she’s a gazelle and jumps the baby gates)
So suddenly this evening I’ve found a huge bruise on her chest and I’m wondering what on earth has happened ??
She’s not fussed about me touching it, doesn’t seem tender or sore but there’s a slight bit of skin breakage so I’m crossing fingers it’s an injury rather than something worse ?? advice is to take her into vets to check for blood disorders as bruising is apparently quite rare in dogs. So I’m going to need all the vibes available that we aren’t dealing with something worse than a bad bump ????

She’s the sweetest dog ever, completely mental but I adore her
but for this to appear overnight is bloody scary ?
