I wonder if anyone could help me. I have a 16.1hh Clydesdale X and am struggling to find any brushing or over-reach boots to fit him. He has a lot of bone but relatively short cannon bones. Everything I seem to try are either the perfect length but not wide enough, or the perfect width but far too long.

I have tried Mark Todd 2 Strap Brushing Boots (see http://www.old-dairy-online-saddlery...ive_Boots.html) and they are perfect in length but not wide enough.

I have also tried Mark Todd Exercise Boots (see http://www.old-dairy-online-saddlery...ive_Boots.html) and they are perfect in width, but far too long for him.

If anyone could recommend any brushing and over-reach boots for a horse with a lot of bone I would be most grateful.

Woof do most of their boots in MXW (medium extra wide). I haven't tried them yet but was going to get some for my 14.3hh heavy cob with a lot of feather. Worth a try. x

I use XL over reach boots from Robinsons for my 17hh IDx. They're about the only brand I can find in XL that don't cost the earth - think I paid £7 for a pair. They are just the plain rubber ones with velcro fastenings.
