Hi everyone,

it’s my birthday Wednesday and my new pony needs some boots for jumping and what not. Not sure wether to get brushing or tendon boots. We are planning on doing basically everything including hunting, fun rides, showjumping, eventing etc.

Thanks

I use tendon for showjumping, and used to use brushing for flatwork and hacking. To be honest I've stopped using boots at all for both flatwork and hacking as my horse doesn't need them so now only use tendon boots when I jump.

Based on the fact you'll be doing lots of jumping, hunting etc I would get a nice pair of tendon boots!

Brushing boots are more versatile IMO if you are doing a variety of things - I use front and back for hacking & fast work - Shires Arma are lightweight & breathable ?
