BS Confusion

Hi all,

I was looking at doing a 6month membership this year with BS but I'm a little confused with all the rule etc. I currently compete 90cm unaffiliated so I'd be doing British Novice and as I'm 19 I'd be a senior. But what does C1 and C2 stand for as I've looked at two schedules and both had British novice listed as a class?

Cat 1 means that there will be some amateur classes in the schedule (but they will also run some 'normal' classes as well, I think they have to run at least 2 amateur classes for it to be a cat 1), cat 2 is standard classes (BN, Discovery, Newcomers)

So you could also do the 85cm amateur and 95cm amateur classes as well as BN depending on the schedules.
