BS jackets

I struggle to get my back protector over my show jacket.

Are you allowed to jump in one of theses?

I could then put it over my back protector as stretchy

Do you mean at BS or unaffiliated/ riding club etc?
Will depend on the venue - I bought a 2nd hand early version of these and wasn’t allowed to wear it at riding club.
Think you would look a bit like a turtle with it stretched over your BP ?

I do have a Horze stretchy show jacket that my BP fits over

I have a KAN back protector so not much fits under it
Years ago the John Whitaker ones were OK for BS but not sure about their own version

I wear a bp for normal riding and it goes over my shirt or base layer. The jacket goes over that. A bp is supposed to be worn close to the body and under jackets.

Yes I realise BP is meant to go over base layer - but I’ve never managed to wear a show jacket over one. The jacket I wear is quite thin and snug fitting to wear a BP on top. Mind you I use shoulder protectors too so I’ll never get a show jacket over that
