Hi,

We are looking to get my pony (14.2) affiliated and myself (im 14) hopefully this winter as we are finding he is jumping local level higher classes (90cms , 100cms , 110cms) and he is jumping them fine, but there are only a few bigger classes at local level shows. So I was wondering, do pony affiliated shows work the same, placings to 6th, rosettes etc...
Also, I was wondering for the junior scope 1metre qualifiyer, is it 2double clears for the first round, then 2 in a second round then the final at scope? Or is it against the clock.
As someone told me once that its only horses in the top 6 to qualify, poines are just get double clears.
Thanks, and sorry for the long thread.

Affiliated is slightly different in that you have a prize (and rosette) for every 5 competitors so e.g if there are 30 in the class, there will be 6 prizes, the minimum money you win is your entry fee.
As for the Scope, it's not just double clear goes through in the 1m progressive, you will have to go against the clock and i think it's the first six qualify for Scope but check the show schedule. I think, but willing to be corrected, that qualification doesn't pass down the line in this class ie if someone is placed who has already qualified, tough on the person who comes 7th.
