For the BSJA Amateur qualifier classes (like the 1m class etc.). Ive looked at the schedule but it doesnt mention any eligibility so I assume they're open classes? ie. it doesnt matter how many winnings you have??

I think they are open to anyone except the top 250 riders... someone may correct me but that is what i was led to believe! So no i don't think it matters how many winnings you have

They are open to anyone who is amateur, depends what height you jump as to how amateur you have to be! no restriction on the horse.
90cm anyone not in top 450
1m anyone not in top 450
1m10 anyone not in top 250
1m20 anyone not in top 250

You only get on the list from winnings on Grade A horses in classes over 1.25 (I think thats the height), but if you get placed once you will be in the top 450 as there is barely 450 people (not horses) that jump this height on Grade As in the country.

I'm not even sure it has to be on a Grade A horse tbh....I think it might just be 1 point for every £50 won at 1.25m or greater

Anyway, £100 winnings at that height would give you 2 points and so put you inside the Top 450

Phew, no danger of me being excluded from them in the near (or distant) future then
