BSJA Amateur Qualifiers - Notional Winnings

I was under the impression that any money won in Amateur Champs classes carried a maximum notional winnings value of £1 or did i just imagine that

I've actually been given £15 notional for my 2nd place in the AC1.10m qualifier the other week

NO I think you imagined it!! I def had £10 notional added when I won a 1m Am CHamp last summer!!!

i 'think' its only for amateur classes as intro shows where the £1 rule applies but I haven't a clue these days!!

definately!!! I rememeber this subject coming up a while ago and I ended up calling the BSJA to tell them they had it wrong (!) but no - it def goes on your notionals!!

I dont understand then, did you think that what ever it was you won only £1 went on you BSJA record??

Just looked at my horse's record online and it looks as tho whatever amount I received ie, £15 for 1st then £15 went on his record!!!

hmmm, im sure this is actualy a rule for something, but im sure it's something 2 do with junior classes which was brought in last year, coz i remember a friend saying about her daughters pony had won a class but only a pound goes on, notional, but i could be wrong (i wasnt paying 100percent attention) bu there is sooooo many diff rules, itw way to easy to gt confused!!!!!

Yes, it is definitely the case that in some Amateur classes you only get £1 Notional, irrelevant of the Actual. I think it's the case for Intro Category shows only though, as per previous poster

Well having just looked at my horses BSJA record again in every Amateur class my actual winnings and notional are the same and the overall amount increases by that amount not £1... but as you say maybe its just at a Intro show... not jumped at one of them so cant comment!!
