Hi

Had to work till 2am and up at 7am to get to Felbridge...............long day
shocked.gif

If BB's is reading, blinged it up a bit, with fluffy numnah / noseband and brass browband, missing the spangley one still

First class for Saf was the 1.05m lovely course till the last fence a proper water or very thin narrow rustic poles
mad.gif
Well we have never jumped a water so I decided if clear would go for the rails and if have had faults would try the water.
Was in a hackamore too
blush.gif
but somehow was clear to those ruddy rails and tipped them so 4 faults.

Then big surprise friend asked me to ride her horse, have not sat on him for a year so 10 mins warming up and in the ring, bless him I was seeing Saf strides and he just kept popping and you guessed it clear to those bloody rails and another 4 faults. Oh well
crazy.gif

Then the 110m decided to stay in the hackamore and had put myself down to go 6th, walked course spent too long getting on and had to go in on 3 fences.
She popped out of her skin for a clear
cool.gif
so now had to wait for the jump off.
Just had the one down in the jump off very very proud mum as it was totaly my fault.
So BEs nearly over (2 more events) and I am making the slow move to BSJA, going to be hard next year to decide

well done. Sounds really good. Pictures look fab. Can you do both be and bsja? Can be really good fun. You can't all go over to the bling of sj!

Was the hackamore good?

Hi
Hopefully can play at both, money allowing
frown.gif
Just find it hard to be competive (sp)
BSJA as she is sometimes a bit hot so have been trying to keep it calm in any JOs with eventing SJ being only one round, getting that bug again for a rosette
wink.gif

Hackamore was good for two rounds but she had totally sussed it for the JO, thats my girl
shocked.gif

Maybe next time will do one class in the hackamore and one in the myler?
Quite liked the partial bling today though have to say with unafill in the other ring there was far to many kids blinged to the hilt (sorry anyone?)
Are you doing both?

used too.... now just event. too expensive all the registration fees. Also cannot be bothered with hanging about all day. Sad we have 2 bsja running show centres within 5 minutes! Never did bling, used normal eventing stuff and looked like an eventer getting sj practice. One of my horse's looks like a really proper sj though!

Is she easier indoors as there is less room to get a gallop on? - More chances of rossettes in winter..... JO rely more on turns indoors...... I could never win anything on speed was always turns!

Pity about hackamore - works well with my piss artist! She sounds a real fun girl! Where's your next event?

Yes its the money thing, why can't they do a deal for joint membership?
The being there all day part is always hard, thats why eventing is so good with times, was out for nearly 12 hours today
shocked.gif

Wow if you live that close can't you give it another go with your close BSJA centres, I have one close by but have no idea what schedule they are going to run would like it to be progressive? not intro.
Next event BCA hoping the ground will be ok then maybe Borde Hill or Tweseldown to finish, are you out again?

Well done

Sounds like you had fun on both your rides.

If your horse jumps water trays okay, you'll probably find he/she jumps water too. Give it a try next time
