Hi
I am 16 years old and about to buy a pony which is 14.2, but my friend said that i cannot jump a pony after i turn 16 in BSJA comps, is this correct?!

Afraid so, you can if you're 16 until the end of the year you turn 16 if that makes sense, after that you're out of ponies :s you can affiliate it as a horse though if it can make the distances, there's no lower height limit for a "horse" bsja

You can jump up as a junior (16 and under) until 31st December of the year in which you turn 16, so if you turn 16 in 2010 you finish at the end of the year.
You COULD then take the pony into seniors if you wished but most people go onto horses then.

Thank you so much everyone for your help :) Im thinking of loaning a pony for this year, so then after that i will go back to my horse when he has recovered from his injuries :)
