The weather was awful although thankfully I managed to do the bulk of my riding before it deteriorated too much.
I did the clear round first. Jenny pinged round no bother and went clear even though we managed to put 2 strides in a 3 stride related distance.

The trouble is she sometimes jumps in so big and then makes up too much ground - her stride is incredibly big for a such a small horse.
I was ready for her in the British Novice and really had to work to get her back and listening to me but we had 3 perfect strides in the related so I was very pleased with that. Unfortunately I had the last fence down. Mainly because I got a bit unseated at the fence before and it took me a few strides to get organised to the last which was on a dogleg and so we had it down.
Here are some pictures from today.

She jumped it fine in the clear round but she just jumped so huge over the multi-coloured fence that I got a bit left behind and didn't sit up and get organised enough in time for the pigs.
Hope your mare gets well soon. xxx

Ahh, the dreaded pigs, my mare threw a fit at those back in the summer, took me about 5 minutes to get her over the 1st fence because they were next to it, then she jumped the actual fence fine when we came round to it!
