BSJA Question - Junior on a horse

Hi all,

Am I right in saying that a Junior riding a horse in BSJA is able to compete but only in the adult classes - there is not a lower age limit in the adult classes?

My horse is 15.2hh and one of my Pony Club kids is going to be doing a bit of BSJA on him and I just want to check that she can jump in the adult classes.

Yes, think that's right. Not sure if there is a lower age limit, but I know some young teens jumping horses in BS classes.

Rider has to be 12 from memory (others will correct me if I'm wrong) but no problem after that age.

Yes from beginning of the year they turn 12 they can be a pony associate member which allows them to jump horses in adult classes

I competed my mare in BSJA adult classes from the age of 12 as a Junior Associate, so you shouldnt have any problems
