Did anyone else know the position was about to become vacant. Surely the regional members should have been notified in case of knowing someone capable of standing for election ?
The rep had said she was planning to stand down for months now - I know a few people who were thinking about standing back in the Spring.
And if anyone was interested surely they should have asked about and made it their business to find out?!
