Thats the thing with horses, they can be so frustrating you just want to never see one again, and then when they are good its beats any other feeling in the world!! Dam things make it so hard to give up!
And this forum thingy is so useful! After 7 years with my horse i have just had a major break through and i owe it all to the various pieces of advice ive read on here!
Do you keep a diary of your progress? Just a thought as a friend had a real trouble horse, she kept one form the very start, it helped when he was bad to read it and see that he could be good (and that at the start hed been a lot worse!)

With all your accidents lately it would of been a best seller!
My horse was no where near as difficult as J, but he would be eliminated at the first fence everytime for the first season i had him, he wouldnt go into canter and when he id he buck every couple of strides, he would nap out the ring and couldnt cope without another horse next to him. Second season out he started winning classes!
My riding club gave me an award for most improved horse, it was such a small thing (only doing 2ft3 classes!) but i was nearly in tears (my dad actually was!)
Now hes known as Mr reliable, can always count hell be placed! Hes not half as talented as J, so just think where youll be next season!
