Hey guys :)

So my new horsey has done bsja and in the future i plan to do it again-he needs a lot of work first!

He has total home winnings of 140 and notional home winnings of 64.. Can anyone explain this toe cz i really have no idea how it works :/

Also i was told by owners he 15.1hh but we measured him at 14.3hh hes registered as 154.9cm on bsja sheet but not sure how high that is.

I know at 14.3hh hes technically a horse so can i compete him bsja as im 19 so in seniors?

Also when his owner bought him he had tickets to compete in british novice regional final. But he never
went... What will this mean to me?

thanks all :)

his winnings that count for his progression through classes/what he is eligible for are his notional winnings. Actual is how much he has actually won but so that novice horses can have the odd class (at a bigger show for example) with higher prize money without putting them out of class too early.

154.9 cm is very nearly 15.1 (15 hands and 0.9 of an inch!)

Total winning is the amount of prize money actually received.
Notional is something BS use to overcome the differences in actual prize money across venues. For instance Addington award £50 for first in BN where as most venues give £25-£30. The notional is a fixed amount awarded to the horse for different placings ie in BN its £15 for first £12 for second and so on.
It is the notional that is used to determine if a horse ie eligable for a class, ie for BN horse must not have more than £99 notional winnings.

Yes you are senior and horse is a horse as far as BS is concerned.

BN second round tickets are gained through getting 4 double clears during the qualifying period (may to april IIRC). The tickets are only for that periods second rounds so are of no use to you now.
