Well I took my four year old and the horse im fittening Mac to Norton Heath Saturday morning, were the 2nd people in the car park!

I got them off and tacked up Spider and got on and walked her off away from the lorry and her friend and she was as good as gold, she has never been indoors before but just walked into the warm up fine and warmed up lovely, and jumping nicely. walked up to go in and she wasnt at all spooked by the door or the surroudings, I was going to have a trot round and see how she was, if she was really spooked I would have just done a couple of smaller ones and come out but she seemed fine so I cantered up to number one and off she went like a pro!! Didnt spook at all and ended up with a clear round!! Was so so pleased with her as the baby in before her was very babyish and she was like she had been doing it years!!

Then got on Mac and he was very good, he has done lots of SJ before but hadnt jumped for over 2yrs when I got him. He did to clear rounds so was a very sucessfull morning and was short and sweet for spider!

Got team dressage on them both there on Sat but hoping to do some more BSJA on a Tuesday in the next couple of weeks.

Well done

Spider did very well for a baby didn't she !? I thought it was quite a spooky arena, so very good for a baby to go in first time like that and jump a clear.

Yes it is very spooky, so wasnt expecting much! But she amazed me! So hopefully she will keep being like that!

Have a few baby things planned for this month like the Prelim on sat, then some showing next sunday, hopefully bsja after that then team jumping in the Novice at the end of the month.

Then hunting!!
