I've been on holiday for two weeks and just got back on friday so poor hairy mr keats has had 2 days of being ridden (with a bit of excited rearing on the first day) and then I took him BSJA today! I was a bit worried that I was pushing him a bit much so I just entered for the BN first to see how we got on.
Anyway he jumped a fabby double clear and won! So i decided to enter for the disc. as well since he loves his jumping so much
and we had one down which was my fault cause I rushed him a bit too much and I nearly fell off at one point too cause he put in 4 strides instead of 5 and jumped so massive that my face was inbetween his ears on landing!
(he's got a big stride for a little hairy beast) but he was fast and there weren't many clears so we still came 4th. So a good day winning £36.
The sad thing is we are now out of BN, he now has £234 actual and £105 notional in a few shows this year. (he's never been unplaced at a BSJA show we've been to) Scary we'd better start jumping newcomers now
