Hello. I did a British Novice last year on a day ticket and want join the BSJA this year.
Ive been on there website and downloaded a membership form and a horse registration. Is this all i need?

Also im a bit confused to how much it is to join? Im 17 in the Pony Club and ride a 16.1hh. Thankyou!

Hi, I'm new to BSJA aswell. I think all we had was the two forms. I think you'd have to join as an associate, and then register your horse according to his winnings. I'd recommend giving them a ring, as it isn't very clear on the website!

Good luck!

ETA - Associate member costs £85, and a grade C (the lowest grade) costs £68. Hope I was a bit of help, but definatly ring them to make sure you're clear what to do before you join!

I'm not sure TBH - thought if you were over 16 you were senior?

Post this in Competition Riders, they might be more help!

Phone them up ans ask them, they are doing a deal where it is £110 ish to reg yourself and your horse for a year if you are a RC member. Also if you have any friends who are members so that they recommended you and then they will get £20 of their membership

Hi, Because you are only 17 you will have to join as an associate member with a parent joining as a non-jumping member too . However, you will still jump in horses classes as a senior competitor. Because you are a new member and in the pony club you can get a special rate package for you, your parent and your horse which I am told is very good value.
As it says above I would ring the BSJA rather than using the webby as they will send you all the correct forms for your discount.
Hope that helps
