Love the look of these but what are they like?? Has anybody got one?? I'm nervous about buying one without trying first, I have a horse which I'm struggling to fit saddles to as they tend to slip - I'm a bit skeptical about a one size fits all saddle - any and all experiences please! Many thanks 😊

Sorry i cant help with your info needs, i have just googled to have a look at them, they are different and wont be to everyones taste, the female rider doesn't seem to sit deep in the saddle in canter,at that money they have lots of other manufacturers to compete with, it would be interesting to have a ride and a jump on one.

Sorry I might be being a bit thick but please can you explain why females can't sit deep in these in canter? Anybody have one of these or had a ride in one?

I have to say, I like the look of them :)

I like how the panels appear to sit flat and even.

I'd be very interested in understanding how the forces are distributed across the horse's back.

Yes that would be interesting, do we know if they've been pressure testing?

I read somewhere, probably on their website, that someone used a pressure pad yo assess. Something about no pressure points detected in twenty ridden minutes. I'd need more data though, and to understand how the rider's seat positioning communicates through to the horse.

It does look interesting for sure and when I get a mo' I'll ask them for more info :)

It's similar to Reactorpanel saddles but with modern materials. It looks like you are sat way off the back of the horse, and there is a disconnect between the seat of the saddle and the horse's back. I would be interested to know how that feels for dressage/schooling.

It reminds me of the Quantum saddle that snapped after being used for a while and the company went bust. I wouldn't buy one until other people have been using them five years, myself.

I've just watched the video again ... the very last clip of a horse jumping - the saddle lifts quite noticeably off the horse's back - it's put me off them a bit tbh - am I just being oversensitive? Surely this isn't acceptable?

Is it the panels that lift off or does the seat come away from the panels? Either way I don't think it's good, would cause shock and or pressure I would think

I was refering to the female rider ( i think its Daniela O'Toole, Irish sports team rider, obviously a good rider) who is in the bua website video, she does not to me sit deep in the saddle ,either through the water on the beach or any of the other shots. Yes there are thousands of excellent female and male riders, and thousands of bad ones,i was not implying women could not ride this saddle, or even thinking of a reason that they would not be able to, just giving my opinion of D O'T in the video.

Ahhh ok, no offence taken I was genuinley wondering why that was the case ... I would love to try one of these but not sure I'd be wanting to invest without a test ride! Esp seeing the saddle come up off the horses back as it takes off for the jump

It's the whole saddle by the looks of it, panels and all ... take a look at the video see what you think ...

Yes the panels do appear to come off the back on some of those clips - can the panels and seat bang together? That would worry me too!

It's always good to look for ways to improve and modernise a product, but I'm not sure about the pivot points at the front, surely they will put undue pressure on the horse, and why would a rider want to bounce up and down over the horse's back like this?

Far too weird for me.

Is the pressure point in this shot the same point a rider would put pressure to the saddle ? To me its a touch forward,

Definitely not a rebranded Quantum and would NOT have the same issues, however I find the concept "interesting" to say the least and would recommend that a five year wait with any new technology reduces the risk of being an early guinea pig!
