any advice my normally chilled warmblood who ive had for 3 years same routine as normal in at night hacked at weekends has become a real handful over last two weeks only change is the hay i am using as old supplier ran out. on no hard feed but strong and bubbling over to ride. has anyone heard or had experience of different hay affecting horses energy levels. dont think its the wind or time of year as normally doesnt affect her. thanks

my WB mare has been the same, full of beans. YO suggested she could be coming into season due to the mild weather as some of her pupils horses have. She was right. Its difficult to tell with my mare. Only way I can tell is by looking at her fillet string as her wee turns it white, thats why I never noticed.

she was in season last week but again doesnt normally cause problems could it be the mild weather?was worried its the hay as would need to change it again
