Bucas Fly Rug

Been looking for last years fly rug a premier equine one and I just cant find it anywhere!
Has anyone got a Bucas one, What do you think and how do the sizes come up. My horse is an inbetweeny size wise.

Very solid make, quite thick and any damage tends to be limited to a small area due to its fabric, rather than destroying the entire rug as with some other makes. Could be a bit over warm on a real heavyweight, but the small mesh seems effective against all insects.

Fairly generous cut, but could be a little bit tight on a really wide shouldered horse.

Expensive but good value for money.

Thanks, theyre on Ebay for £69 including the mask so its not too bad as Ive bought some cheaper ones before and they either dont fit or move all over or fall to pieces. I think I'd have to go for a size up as my horse is quite big at the shoulder.

If it's the Buzz Off thenI've got one as an emergency rug & for in the stable. I really like them (it's only a spare because my lad gets sweet itch & it doesn't give quite enough coverage on him even though it's better than most) & his normal size is fine on him & he's an ID with a big front. They don't damage easily & Ive never had a problem with Jim getting too hot in his, indeed if it's very hot I use it in the field because he seems comfier in it.

£69 is a good price!

I love mine- have it on a 16.1 TB who usually takes a 6'6 but has a 6'3 as they are generous! He's never been too hot in it, in fact he's cooler in that than in his other one.

I bought two Rambo Protectors (after advice on here) for two of my three (I victimise the other) and they are excellent. They fit beautifully on my broad built (extra wide saddle) TB and my TB cross, and don't slip or move - they seem quite thoughtfully designed with tabs for helping pull Velcro apart etc.
I bought mine from Ingatestone Saddlery for about £76, I think, including postage, after Ifield gave me the link (thanks again, Ifield!)
