Bucas Power Turnout

Hi,

Has anyone got a Bucas Power Turnout and can you offer advice....

I am thinking of getting one as Ive heard its a one stop shop with a rug and you dont need to keep changing it....

How do you get on with yours?

Apparently you can put them on a wet horse and they withstand temps of -25 to plus 15....

Im not sure whether I am brave enough to be able to turn out overnight in freezing conditions with the one rug on.....Has anyone used one/got one....are you happy with it..

also, re sizing....I have a 16hh/16.1 warmblood mare who takes a wide saddle....rugs have a tendency to be tight across her chest and pull down/rub above her withers...she has a thick set neck....she would currently be in a 6ft3..
Do these rugs come up big/small and any suggestions onthe neck cover size I would need to get..

I have a Bucas Smartex I picked up in a Derby House sale a few years ago. It was cheap so I got it, but it's not MY colour so I only used it occasionally and always looked down on it.
Then came the first of the subzero winters....and I fell in love with it! No matter what you threw at it - it never moved an inch and he was toasty warm in it.
I spent a fortune on another one last year (Bucas Power) and I find it a bit big, but worth the investment.
Be careful how you wash them though.
