I’m sure this has been done to death.. welsh coblette is currently in between sizes. Most usual brands are coming up too short, just splurged out on a Rambo 6’0 and yet again doesn’t fit! Considering trying it in 6’3 or a Rhino.

having had a nosey at bucas big neck I wanted to see what the consensus is on them? Or amigo XL..
Any thoughts welcomed!

My 4yo IDx is huge in the neck and shoulders and when I put his Rambo back on this winter he practically had a cleavage it was so tight at the front! I wanted to get the amigo xl and liners but all out of stock so went for the Bucas Irish turnout and it fits him really well, I’ve been really impressed. Detachable neck available and it’s a 1200d outer so hopefully should last a while. Not particularly deep but it stays put, has shoulder darts so plenty room at front and no wither pressure. A fraction of the price of Rambo (gutted to lose them but they sold on FB in about 90 seconds!)

thank you - that’s the main issue and my welsh is constantly changing and just a weird shape as he’s deep and wide ?
I’ll have a look to see if there’s any bucas rugs in the sales!

Trying to prepare for winter and my 15hh rug wrecker is in need of a new turnout rug or two having chewed up the cheaply rug l bought him last year. Have looked at Bucas big neck and wonder how they fit length wise? I’ve mainly used P E rugs recently liked the quality of Bucas in the past but they always seemed to be quite small fitting. Cob let will be fully clipped and in work so does need a decent rug or two.

I had a Bucas Sun Shower years ago, plus a cooler, and imo they're the only bigger company that understand shoulder shaping (Lansdown even better). I never quite got the reason they weren't more popular but this was 20 years ago.

If I had a rug wreaker, I'd stick to cheap rugs! How is he chewing them up? Is he too hot?
