BUCAS RUGS FOR A TB do you use them???

I have used loads of different brands of rugs and found my favourites- the ones that fitted my welsh x perfectly rub my TB's shoulders. Has anyone used Bucas rugs on a TB and if so how do they fit and what are they like in general?

J has a lightweight one, he is a skinny TB and it fits him really well.

Oh Thanks it was a light weight one i was looking at- there is one in my magazine for £45 and neck covers for £23 which i though was a really good price for what i've always considered to be a higher end brand?
Think i may just HAVE to go shopping

I have a Holsteiner X T.B and she is very slight,they fit her perfectly and keep going forever,they are really well made and are built to last, a great fit for the skinny's.

We used to use them for two older TBs, great fit, really nice rugs.

Have had quite a few outdoor bucas rugs and to be honest the fit, longevity and ease of use are not a patch on any of my rhino or rambos. The smartex is the best fit of the bucas range I have found and they are warm. After using another one for a whole season I have finally resolved to never get one again.

Bucas are a decent make, I know because we sell them!
They do a budget range called the Irish Range and they seem to fit my TB Mare very well including her lightweight turnout.
All Bucas rugs come with a 2 year warranty as standard, there are not many companies that do this, the rugs are also made in Ireland not the far east like most rugs.

I also like FAL rugs which although expensive last forever! My 3 year old is now wearing her mothers old Bulldog turnout which is 8 years old! FAL rugs are also made in the UK, so why not buy British????

my TB has a bucas fly rug- i cant rate that highly highly enough!

My TB has a Bucas Sun Shower Sheet. Nice rug, fits really well and stays waterproof - many LWs seem not to... Only minus point is the front fastening clips are really awkward to fasten - the clips are sewn really close to the rug and there isn't enough room to twist the clips together... if you understand??
