My horse normally wears a 6'3" stable rug and has a 6'6" SunShower turnout rug that I used on her last year. Shes a 16.1 TB rising 4 year old and isn't particularly wide chested (just 'normal' for that height horse Id say) but I tried it on her this evening and its tight across her chest. I can do it up alright but by the time id lead her to the field and let her go, I noticed little wrinkles in her skin around where the rug fitted at the front. And her head wasnt even down to graze. Its the only light turnout ive got at the moment and Im worried itll rub. Are these rugs a bit on the tight side generally, and does anyone know if theres any way I can make the chest bigger - an extender or something for Bucas rugs? Lengthwise its more than generous so I wouldnt want to get a longer one thats for sure.
