Has anyone done this recently and if so, could they let me know if access is fine and the best maps to get please? Seems as though the rider maps are no more and am strugling to get any detail other than 'follow the white horseshoe' which is not that helpful at a distance. TIA :)

I haven't done it but recently did the Hawick riding route and found the waymarking to be excellent, maps almost not required. The person to ask would be the lady who runs the Ride Scottish Borders Facebook page, it's a project developing routes and accommodation for horses and riders. She would probably have some idea of the access situation and maps. https://www.facebook.com/ridescottishborders/

the name of it does sound like a hunt or farm ride but its 50+ miles of trails around the estate that you can do at any time :)

Ooooh one for my list then :) going to look it up!! Thanks :D

I loved the hunt ride, weren’t jumping but some wonderful canters and gallops and beautiful countryside :)

I bought Kia from East Linton so it was wonderful taking him back there last year as it was his last year
