...anyone got any recommendations for a nice yard where I can go for a hack while on holiday? We will be staying around North Dean, but have a car so happy to travel - High Wycombe / Aylesbury etc.

Do you mean you want to hire a horse from a yard/pay to go on an escorted hack? Or are you bringing your own horse on holiday and want to find somewhere to hack out from? Also, when's your holiday?

I only live 5 mins from North Dean and keep my horse in Speen!
There are a variety of riding schools around.
Shana is 5/10 mins from North Dean - hacking is really good - horses are ok
Widmer about 10/15 mins - 5/10 mins quite road works to woods. They do have their own land to ride on but close it through autumn/winter. So not sure if still open now. I know the instructors here quite well.
Shardeloes about 15/20 mins - lots of their own land - though have not actually hacked there.
If you are looking for something different PM and I may be able to offer something else.
