I was going to run there as my 1st PN last year and wouldn't have done if I'd heard bad things about it so it can't be tooooo bad!! I think I found some pic on eventriders.com or EWW???
Planning on going this year!
I have walked round it - its nice. My OH sister owns it so have had a good mooch round!
Its fairly hilly round the parkland in places so would think you would need a fit horse. Straightforward water as well.
If Barbury was not on at the same time I would make the effort to go there and run in the novice.
Ages since I rode it but ground tends to be pretty good. Fences were up to height and width but rode well. Course starts at bottom of a hill climbs gently for about the first four fences then rises quite steeply, used to be a fence on the top then a 2 or 3 on the way back down an equally steep hill. Remember the steps to the skinny caused quite few glance offs, remainder of course straight forward from what I remember though could have changed considerably since I rode it. Do remember loads of room for dressage warm up but the sj was squashed into a small area and the fences were the ones with matchsticks for poles!

Think you must have done it the year I did! Everyone was getting run outs at that skinny and somehow we got over it. They changed it the year after to make it easier and we had a stop!
