Ok firstly a *WARNING* lots of staffie pics coming up
Buddy has been with me for 2 weeks now and he is an amazing dog. We are working on the aggresive response to some dogs and training is going well
He has had 4 days of walking with my friends GSD without reacting and even showing signs of wanting to interact with him
My older staffie Kc has really taken to him now and sometimes allows him to share her bed and will even travel in the back of the van with him
We went for a walk by the lakes a couple of days ago and Buddy stood teetering on the edge of bank barking at the water
However once Hoppy went in Buddy soon followed and decided water is fun and lets not get out
He managed a little swim and lots of paddling, although thirsty work so he proceeded to try and drink the lake dry
The last of the good news is his skin is MUCH better
He is still itching a little but the steroids from the vet has eased it and last nites check up result is to halve the dosage and add antihistamines as it does look to be more allergy based - thinking grass
Sorry for the waffle and very slight photo overload
but I am sooooooooo pleased that this abandoned unwanted little staffie is turning out to be a fantastic beastie who is here to stay
